Digitax OTA (Over The Air) Taximeter is the web platform designed to manage the remote firmware and fare updates of Digitax taximeters in a secure, centralized and efficient way.
The OTA Taximeter service allows authorized operators to monitor the status of the fleet, distribute fare and firmware packages, manage and monitor the progress of updates, all from an intuitive interface accessible via browser. Designed for installers, administrators and operators in the sector, the system automates critical processes and minimizes the margin of error, while ensuring complete traceability and regulatory compliance.
The system is designed and conceived to reduce costs and intervention times for large fleets, improving service from every point of view.

Technological infrastructure

The infrastructure is based on Windows servers and is designed to effectively defend and protect sensitive data by preventing unauthorized access by malicious individuals.

Centralized control and access specifications

The system supports user profiles (Admin, Installer, Viewer), each with limited access to features based on their role.

With the “Deploy to Fleet” and “Deploy to Group” areas, you can centrally distribute firmware or pricing packages across your entire fleet or to specific device segments. This supports a variety of operational scenarios, from mass updates to testing on selected groups, without interrupting service.

Full tracking and audit

The “Activity Logs” area, for both users and devices, provides a complete record of all operations performed. This allows you to audit changes, trace any errors or anomalies, and, if necessary, maintain an organized archive by deleting obsolete records.

Support for offline procedures

The system supports offline enrollments, ideal in environments with unstable connections. The entire enrollment process continues in the background once communication is re-established, ensuring operational flexibility.
