Dual CPU

The X-ONE PLUS features a dual-processor architecture that separates computing and automotive control tasks for maximum reliability and responsiveness.

Its main CPU — a 1 GHz Freescale ARM Cortex-A8 i.MX53 — includes a hardware graphics accelerator with OpenGL support, delivering fast, smooth performance for navigation and real-time applications.

The secondary Automotive Intensive Task Processor (AITP) manages all critical vehicle operations, such as power management, safe shutdown, and wheel-pulse odometer functions.
It also handles Over-the-Air (OTA) firmware updates and remote diagnostics, ensuring the device stays up to date and fully operational.

This intelligent dual-CPU synergy guarantees high responsiveness, low power consumption, and continuous fleet operation under all conditions.

Fleet Management and Work Distribution

The X-ONE PLUS is a compact, all-in-one platform designed for fleet management and dispatching.

Customizable User Interface

The 7-inch 16:9 TFT display (800×480) offers a clear and responsive interface for versatile, user-friendly applications.
The integrated TouchScreen controller and six programmable LED keys enable operators to manage functions quickly and safely — avoiding unnecessary touchscreen wear during frequent or demanding operations.

The ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness for perfect visibility in any lighting condition.
A smart power button adds flexibility and control:

  • short press → boot from the system disk

  • long press → boot from the microSDHC card

  • long press (safe mode) → perform a secure system shutdown

It can also be disabled or programmed for “Ghost Mode”, simulating a shutdown while keeping essential background operations active.

Stealth Mode

Stealth Mode is a special operating state where the system remains fully active while the display stays off.
It’s designed for security, monitoring, and energy efficiency, keeping the terminal operational without drawing attention.

Main applications:

  • Driver monitoring:
    The control center can remotely wake up the device — even with the screen off — to check the vehicle’s location, listen to audio, or retrieve diagnostic data.

  • Ghost Mode:
    When the power button is pressed, the device can enter Stealth Mode instead of shutting down.
    This keeps the system running in the background, reducing power use while maintaining full control.

  • Alarm management:
    If the system is off and the alarm button is pressed, the unit can start directly in Stealth Mode, invisibly sending alerts, GPS data, screenshots, or audio to the operations center.

In every configuration, Stealth Mode provides discreet operation, intelligent energy use, and enhanced security control for professional fleets.

Customizable Software

The X-ONE PLUS includes a ready-to-use Software Development Kit (SDK) that simplifies the integration of complex interfaces such as CAN Bus and digital I/O into professional applications.

Dual Start Function

The Dual Start Function allows you to restore or update the entire system at any time — from user applications to the operating system and CPU firmware.
The terminal can boot from two different microSDHC cards:

  • one used for data storage (maps, images, logs, or multimedia),

  • and one dedicated to system initialization or recovery.

This architecture ensures maximum reliability in every condition, simplifying updates, diagnostics, and maintenance directly in the field.

Connectivity

The X-ONE PLUS offers a full range of wired and wireless interfaces for seamless communication with external devices and systems.
It includes two high-speed USB 2.0 hosts, one USB OTG port, and up to six serial connections (RS232 and RS485) to manage multiple peripherals simultaneously.

For video integration, the device provides two video inputs for surveillance cameras and a VGA output for external monitors or displays.
Additionally, programmable digital inputs and outputs allow operators to control connected equipment and read signals from external devices with precision and flexibility.
